The sailing

What is the best part of being in a new place with people that you've just met? Try new experience! And the sailing is one of those. 

One day Audrey introduced me to two of her friends and guess what one of them had a boat. Well in fact he was working for a compagny that gives sailing lesson. And the first thing that he asked us was: would you like to try sailing? Of course we want! So few days later me, Audrey, Karine and Safy were on our way to Kitsilano beach. 

The boat was small, perfect for 6 people. It was just amazing!!! We had a really good time on the boat that looks like a small Katamaran. We had some drinks even if we were not suppose to but we couldn't resist. The water wasn't so cold. In fact it was kind of hot. I know what I'm talking about cause Zac had the GOOD idea to push me and Safy into the water. And guess what?? Yeah, the boat just continue his way and we had to swim a long way to get back onto. But it was fun .

After the boat ride, we went in the yatch club. WOW!!!! It was so luxurious. He showed us all the expensive boat and we even saw some seal at less than 20 meters.

This experience was one of my favorite and I hope that I will have the chance to do it again. Maybe not here in Vancouver but why not in Spain!

2 days experience in Victoria

Last week-end, Josee, Karine and I went to Victoria with the club ESL. We were not even in the car that we had our first misadventure. Josee wasn't there. I told her the day before that we were leaving at 8 o'clock but finally  it was at 7 o'clock. I tried to call her but her cellphone was close. I even went to her house but she didn't answer me. So on the saturday morning who's missing?? Josee!!!!

We left without her in direction of the ferry. We were so exited about the trip, the weather in Vancouver is awesome. It haven't been rainning for 4 weeks but it's without thinking about the Murphy law. It rainned so much on saturday that we were disappointed.  But we mannaged. We went at the Royal Bc museum which was amazing and to the Butchard Garden.

In the evening we had a great time with our tour guide at the Smith's pub near the hotel. We had a little bit too much of alchool ...

On sunday, we went at the Craigdarroch Castel and explore the city of Victoria.

Even thought we had a lot of misadventures we totally enjoyed our trip. If I have to do it again I wont change anything!
